Moscow, Sep 09: From September 9 to 11, New Delhi will host the International Industrial Trade Fair INNOPROM. India for the first time, ahead of the 18th BRICS Summit. Sber is participating with its own Digital Mine showcase.
In India, Sber is known not only as one of Russia’s largest banks with a 185-year history, but also as a key financial partner of Russian-Indian cooperation. The company operates two offices here, in Delhi and Mumbai, as well as its own IT hub in Bangalore. The bank serves over 60% of India’s exports to Russia. Today, Sber is an essential infrastructural link that ensures settlements, supports foreign trade operations, and creates services that enable companies from both countries to access each other’s markets.
The central concept of Sber’s showcase — the Digital Mine — is built around a simple yet powerful metaphor: mines of natural resources defined Russia’s wealth for centuries; but today intelligence and the technologies it enables are becoming the primary resource. Visually, the exposition connects two dimensions of Russia-India cooperation. The first is practical and already operational: banking and business infrastructure for companies in both countries. The second is technological: AI-driven solutions and next-generation computing technologies. At the center of the exposition is a photonic chip placed inside a mineral, symbolizing a new valuable resource.
At Sber’s space, exhibition guests will explore the solutions the company offers for Russian-Indian business. Among them is a fast cross-border settlement service that enables payments to India within minutes, as well as a full suite of tools for rupee transactions: accounts, deposits, letters of credit, bank guarantees, and more. Sber’s Business Development supports Russian businesses in India end-to-end — from finding suppliers to closing the first deal.
In healthcare, explore the GigaDoc mirror. Using artificial intelligence technologies, photoplethysmography, and computer vision, the service assesses a person’s health risks across 17 parameters contact-free in a matter of seconds.
Sber and Rabota.ru’s platform deals with HR and migration matters. In addition, Sber recently acquired the Summit Towers in Delhi — a Russian-Indian cooperation center is planned there, meaning businesspeople will be able to rent Class A offices for working in India.
Among Sber’s technological solutions at the exhibition is a prototype of a universal optical computing unit designed for real-world AI tasks. The device performs over 1 bn matrix multiplication operations per second, with optical multiplication taking fractions of a nanosecond, and power consumption is more than 30% lower compared to electronic analogs. In the long run, the technology can significantly reduce the costs of training and deploying large models, which is critical for the further progress of artificial intelligence.
GigaAgent, Russia’s first autonomous universal AI agent, is another showcased solution that is capable of independently solving applied tasks: calendar management, document handling, correspondence, information research, and creating reports and presentations. Unlike conventional chatbots, GigaAgent can better retain context, does not require step-by-step supervision, incorporates and accumulates feedback, and adapts to the user’s individual workflow. The agent can work autonomously and in background mode, demonstrating proactivity: it asks clarifying questions on its own when the situation requires, and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously within a single semantic context.
The exposition is complemented by six SberCity solutions that are already entering the Indian market.
Among them are digital energy modeling of buildings that accounts for climate, architecture, and operating conditions, and the Graftio-Levante device ensuring year-round climate control in every room. The stand also features a vacuum waste collection system and the Territory Energy Management Center that helps reduce building operating costs. Additionally, guests will be able to learn more about the Microgrid intelligent system for autonomous power supply and the SberCity Smart Home integrated solution developed with the participation of SberDevices. All products demonstrate Sber’s technological potential and are already available for India’s construction market.
