Hyderabad, Feb 28: The third day of mBAJA SAEINDIA 2026 at B V Raju Institute of Technology (BVRIT), Narsapur, Hyderabad, was conducted with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit. The events continued successfully across various categories, informed Mr. Ali Sayed, Convener, and Dr. Vemula Murali Krishna, Joint Convener and Professor of Mechanical Engineering, BVRIT. Day 3 featured intense technical scrutiny and performance-based evaluations. Students showcased their engineering expertise through Technical Inspection and Brake Test procedures, where vehicles were rigorously examined to ensure compliance with safety standards.
In the Dynamic Events, competitions such as Acceleration, Sled Pull, Maneuverability, and Specialty Events were conducted. By the end of the day, 42 vehicles successfully cleared the Technical Inspection, while 35 vehicles qualified in the Brake Test, earning eligibility for the Dynamic Rounds. These safety evaluations played a crucial role in maintaining the quality, reliability, and competitive standards of the event. All buggies are now set and ready for the Final Endurance Race scheduled for tomorrow.
Co-Convener Mrs. Lalitha Patra stated that the technical and dynamic events stand as testimony to the students’ innovation, creativity, and engineering competence. She announced that the Final Endurance Race will be held on Sunday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the BVRIT campus, followed by the Valedictory Ceremony and Prize Distribution.
A thought-provoking Panel Discussion on the theme “Education Beyond the Classroom: Experiential Learning Approach” was also organized as part of the day’s proceedings. The session was moderated by Dr. K. C. Vora, Director, NAMTECH.
