New Delhi, Feb 06: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, American Oncology Institute (AOI), one of India’s leading oncology care networks, has announced the launch of its “Cancer Expert Opinion” initiative, a patient-focused program aimed at helping individuals and families make informed decisions before beginning cancer treatment.
With over 13 years of oncology excellence, AOI has treated more than 12 lakh cancer patients and touched 36 lakh lives across its network. Guided by this year’s World Cancer Day theme, “United by Unique,” AOI’s new initiative underscores that every cancer journey is different, and the right expert opinion at the right time can significantly influence outcomes and quality of life.
The Cancer Expert Opinion program enables patients to have their medical reports reviewed by experienced oncologists across AOI’s nationwide network. Based on the evaluation, a personalized consultation is scheduled to guide patients on the most appropriate treatment pathway. The initiative is designed to ensure that timely intervention and the right treatment modality are accessible to more patients, regardless of geography.
