BHOPAL, Feb 24: The three-day ‘National Vanmali Katha Samman Samaroh 2026‘, a premier literary congregation dedicated to the memory and creative legacy of the illustrious litterateur, educator, and thinker Jagannath Prasad Choubey ‘Vanmali’, will commence on February 24, 2026.
Mr. Santosh Choubey, National President of Vanmali Srijan Peeth and senior poet-writer, announced the details during a press briefing on Saturday. He stated that eight distinguished writers across various categories will be decorated this year. The ceremony is being organized under the aegis of ‘Vishwarang’ by Vanmali Srijan Peeth, Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), SCOPE Global Skills University, and AISECT Publication.
The festivities will be held across the lush campuses of RNTU and SCOPE Global Skills University. The event will be graced by Jnanpith Award-winning Odia writer Pratibha Ray as the Chief Guest, with the inaugural performance featuring the soul-stirring Kabir Gayan by Padma Shri Prahlad Singh Tipanya.
