Adani and Google Join Forces to Build India’s Largest AI Data Hub in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam, Oct 14, 2025: In a major leap for India’s digital infrastructure and technological future, Adani Enterprises, through its joint venture AdaniConneX, has partnered with Google to develop the country’s largest artificial intelligence (AI) data center campus in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The project is backed by a substantial investment of $15 billion over a five-year period (2026–2030).

This mega venture is poised to become a cornerstone of India’s AI ecosystem, featuring a gigawatt-scale data center operation, supported by advanced subsea cable connectivity and renewable energy infrastructure. The collaboration also includes partnerships with major players such as Airtel, aiming to establish a robust AI backbone across the nation.

At the heart of the initiative lies a purpose-built AI data center infrastructure that will significantly expand India’s computing capabilities. It is designed to meet the growing demand for AI-powered solutions across sectors like healthcare, education, research, and enterprise technology.
