Shivamogga, July 31: A large-scale merchant outreach drive was conducted by Canara Bank Shivamogga Region to promote the Bank’s BHIM QR and newly launched Sound Box solutions, under the guidance of Shri H. K. Gangadhar, General Manager & Circle Office Head, Manipal Circle.
As part of the campaign, teams comprising employees from branches across the region visited nearly 500 merchants in a single day, creating widespread awareness about Canara Bank’s digital payment offerings.
The initiative received an overwhelming response from the merchant community, with the Sound Box, drawing significant interest for its affordability and ease of use. The campaign generated a large number of quality leads for BHIM QR and Sound Box installations, reflecting the growing acceptance of digital payment solutions.
The outreach drive reinforced Canara Bank’s commitment to advancing a secure, affordable, and inclusive digital payments ecosystem while strengthening its engagement with the merchant community. The outreach programme was led by Shri. Sanjeev Kumar, Regional Head, Shivamogga, along with Canara Bank employees.
